This Kent Dog Walk was given to us by the pawsome Little Paws who finds the time to hand pour dog-friendly candles and wax melts and care for and walk other people's fur babies! Thank you Kim! Get in touch with Kim at Little Paws in the Doggy Directory to find out more or place an order! Little Paws post all over the UK!

Parking
You can park at SHIP & TRADES for 3 hours if you are not a customer which is ample for this loop even with a run in the dog enclosure! Do check the parking signs though as these are liable to change.

Follow the England Coastal Path green sign through the gate

A great route for a muddy day

Whilst there is quite a bit of on lead walking, there is a large enclosed dog run so your dog can let its hair down!

You can see Upnor across the water, the Castle and dog-friendly pubs The Ship and The Pier

You've come to the end of the walk when you get to Starbucks where you can normally get a puppacino with your well-behaved dog!

Ship & Trades has an undercover area outside or if the sun is shining no need! Enjoy a Hot Chocolate or whatever you fancy with your dog!

The Pawfect Pad Review

Doggy Directory The Pawfect Pad loved this walk and this is what they said: "We followed the coastal path around the harbour (from the Ship and Trades pub), through a park, with an off lead area for dogs! (I would say totally secure if your dog isn't a jumper) followed back along the harbour with a view of Upnor Castle and it leads you back to Dockside. Oh and it's totally buggy/wheelchair friendly" - thank you The Pawfect Pad glad you enjoyed it!

Dog-friendly Cafe Bueno

Thank you to Lorraine Johns of The Bark Park of Higham for the Cafe Bueno recommendation, a dog-friendly coffee stop with lots of doggy treats, just before the bridge

This walk has lead walking and the opportunity for off lead in the dog run area with gorgeous views and good terrain for a muddy day. Hope you enjoyed it and thank you again to Little Paws for the amazing pictures, a picture speaks a thousand words!
