Dog friendly tea room open Wednesday to Sunday 9am to 3pm part of Bredgar and Wormshill Railway but is open even when railway isn't. Inside and lots of outside seating and space. Lovely dog walks nearby. We parked in Bredgar village and walked across the fields (public footpaths) and through woodland to get there and enjoy a drink before weaving our way back.

The Old Dairy Café can be found in one of the original Goodnestone Estate Dairies. Converted in 2017, it has retained the original features of the building. There is a beautiful indoor seating area with plenty of space as well as additional outdoor tables within the courtyard. You will find the cafe at the entrance to the gardens. (please note you do not have to visit the gardens to use the Cafe). Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in both the cafe and the gardens. One dog per visitor.

Lots of parking. Gate closes at 8pm. Easy access to the river via a jetty. BYO or you can hire from Canoe Wild. Beautiful place to sup or canoe. Dude absolutely loves it. Grove Ferry Inn is also dog friendly with a dog menu. It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.

We welcome dogs in the grounds as long as they’re kept on a lead at all times and in all areas of the grounds including Lake Walk, Woodland Walk, the jousting field and even on the Rowing Boats. Dogs are not allowed inside the cafés, restaurants, shops, Castle, mazes, play areas or Festival Theatre. There are water bowls provided for them at both our Moat Restaurant and at the Guthrie Pavilion Café where there is also outside seating.

Parking is free and accessible parking is available. There is more than one car park. On arrival, you will be met by staff to guide you to the car park that is open for use.

Lympne Castle is very dog friendly, no charge for going into the grounds and inside the castle note it may be closed for a private event. If it is open The Good Knight inside the castle is dog friendly open from midday with a good roast dinner on a Sunday apparently and you can get a picture of your dog with a knight! The Naughty Dog cafe is part of Lympne Castle entrance on the outside of the castle. Lympne Church next door has beautiful views of the sea from the churchyard and the Lympne Village Recreation ground is handy for a runaround if you're going for a meal at The Naughty Dog or The Good Knight and want an exercised dog! According to the National Trust website there are more than 450 acres for your dog to explore out on the estate around Sissinghurst Castle Garden with lakes to jump into and wide-open fields.

Sissinghurst Castle welcomes well behaved dogs on leads around the estate and inside the Old Dairy Café, Plant Shop, and main Shop. Only assistance dogs are allowed inside the garden due to conservation purposes, and inside the vegetable garden to meet Food Hygiene Safety standards.

Dogs on leads are welcome around the wider estate at Sissinghurst. Please keep your dogs under close control at all times when near livestock.

450 acres and a cafe will do us nicely thank you Sissinghurst!
