If ever there was a place designed for both humans and hounds to unwind, it has to be Spring Park in Launceston, Cornwall. This time we tucked ourselves away in the Hercules Cabin, and what a treat it was! Hercules Cabin is one of several options at Spring Park.
The cabin itself is like stepping into a storybook — cute, quirky, and cosy but with all the modern comforts you secretly hope for when “glamping.” Full electrics meant no fumbling around with torches, the little kitchen was just right for whipping up breakfasts, and the en-suite shower room made the whole experience feel more boutique hotel than rough-and-ready camping.
The humans definitely didn’t go hungry (or thirsty!) either. Evenings were spent firing up the pizza oven, grilling on the BBQ, and then sinking blissfully into the wood-fired hot tub under the stars. Nothing says holiday like sitting in bubbling hot water with a glass in hand while the night settles around you.
But the real highlight? The pups! Cookie and Biscuit had the time of their lives in the enormous, partially enclosed woodland garden. From sniffing out every corner to chasing each other through the trees, their tails didn’t stop wagging. It felt so good knowing they had their own safe little adventure playground while we relaxed.
Spring Park was everything we wanted: relaxing, dog-friendly, and just that little bit magical. We left feeling recharged, happy, and already plotting our next trip back. If you’re looking for a break where the whole family — paws included — can truly switch off and enjoy, Hercules Cabin at Spring Park is a must.
Thank you to Chelsea, Cookie and Biscuit for this pawsome recommendation
