We will spend some of the afternoon session going through a case study looking at the reasons behind the reactive behaviour seen as well as the strategies put in place to help. In fact after 18 months this dog has managed to come off behavioural support meds! Coxhill are very excited to share this dogs journey with you.

Calling all runners and their canine companions. Get ready for a new challenge with CaniX UK (official) Cani-Cross UK or CaniCross UK at Bedgebury. Take on the scenic trails of Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest alongside your furry friend and tackle either a 5k or 10k trail race together. Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March 2025, 9.30am.

Canicross is a cross country trail run with dogs via a belt, bungee line and non-restrictive harness, allowing the dogs to pull and the pair to work as a team. Runners of all abilities are welcome, from elite to recreational. This timed run predominantly uses the trails around Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest. The 5k route is a single loop of the route, whilst the 10k runners will complete 2 laps.

Currently every other week at Blean Woods meeting in the RSPB car park Rough Common Road CT2 9DD at 11am, walk will start between 11:15 and 11:30am to give people time to join in case of traffic etc. All breeds welcome.

Just a few ground rules, no reactive dogs unless accompanied by a professional behaviourist or trainer, no dogs in season and no adverse training techniques or equipment is permitted.

Please note, ALL banned breeds must be following all laws. (Muzzled, leashed, under the control of a person 16 years or older, microchipped, registered, insured, neutered where applicable)
