DOG WALK KENT

Canterbury City Dog Walk

Dog Walk Kent
Love that you can enjoy a mooch with your dog around Canterbury city centre, it's great for dog friendly shopping and dog friendly cafes and pubs, a visit to Canterbury Cathedral, maybe even a punt and a walk along the Stour either all the way to Chartham and come back on the train or just turn back when you've had enough. According to google maps it's just over an hour to walk from Westgate Gardens along the Stour to Chartham station and then why not take a train trip with your dog! Lots of these pictures taken on a Canterbury Netwalk which supports dog-friendly Lily's Social Kitchen in Guildhall Street

Cafes and Pubs
Lots of dog friendly cafes and pubs in Canterbury including Lily's Social Kitchen, Cafe St Pierre, Thomas Beckett, Real Eating Company, Snuggery and if you decide to walk to Chartham the Artichoke welcomes dogs.

Parking
Parking tends to be expensive in Canterbury but there are various options we often park at St Radigunds and walk along the river into town. Or if you would prefer a better value option you can do Park and Ride Ten Perch Road Canterbury CT1 3TQ and take your dog on the bus.
Head down St Peters Street then turn left onto St Peters Place when you're faced with Westgate Towers

Love a helpful map here at the entrance to Westgate Parks enter on in
