Parking
You can park at Ocean View Car Park and as at 8th April 2024 car parking here was £1.70 a day 10am to 4pm 1st April to 30th September (otherwise free out of hours and out of season) but do check for yourself when you park!

This Dog Walk is in the Herne Bay Coastal Park

We walked down towards the first beach

And across the lovely board walk to the beach for beach fun

What spaniel doesn't love a dunk! Choppy but shallow when we went!

After a play on the windy beach we headed up the steps to continue on the coastal path

Follow the England Coastal Path signs

Doug pictured taking a breather, you can take a pew here if you are worn out from all the steps and enjoy the views.

Head along the solid path with Reculver Towers in the distance, that's where you're heading

Dog-friendly pub The King Ethelbert Inn

The King Ethelbert Inn Reculver is dog-friendly, dogs should be dry and well-behaved so maybe take a towel if you have a sea dog and want to go to the pub!

We got slightly lost on the way back but essentially you head back the way you came!

Reculver Tides

We thought we'd include the tide times, according to the internet it's quite a rocky beach at high tide but better for walking on at low tide (and you can get to Herne Bay apparently but we have not tried this!).
