Pet Sitters and Home stays day or night in the pet(s)' own home are not regulated in the same way but you would expect the Pet Sitter to have insurance, pet first aid and DBS check.

I am level 2 qualified in 'canine care and welfare' and we are pet first aid trained, as the wellbeing of your fur babies is paramount to us! Suzie Usher established Ashford Pet Care licensed dog boarding in 2021 and owns two dogs who are both rescue, a rescued cat( who was pregnant when Suzie took her in) and now has mum and her two sons.

Suzie grew up in the countryside at High Halden, has always had dogs, and her family worked on a dairy farm and Suzie worked there too in the holidays.

Suzie is very comfortable around all animals and her own dogs are called Megan and Jill. When dogs come to stay they are treated like family, they can sleep wherever they want to, they go for beach walks and lots of countryside walks, never the same walk each day.

The Ashford Pet Care vehicle is fitted with crates and the dogs' safety is always paramount. Suzie is Dog First Aid trained and doing a diploma in dog care.

Hoopers is fast and fluid where dogs get to negotiate a course of hoops, barrels and tunnels whilst the handler directs them at distance.

Distance handling upskills the human/canine partnership whilst 'lower impact' and generally safer by avoiding jumps, tight turns and heights. Great for junior and senior dogs as well as handlers with limited physical fitness - your dog does the hard work! Big dogs, small dogs, any breed of any age can enjoy Canine Hoopers.
