Dog Friendly Beach

A sandy beach backed by high chalk cliffs where dogs are welcome off their lead all year round. Dogs are allowed on the beaches east of the small tidal pool. However, they are not permitted within the National Nature Reserve, which starts at the small tidal paddling pool and includes the chalk reef, mud flats and saltmarsh.

Mid to low tides are the best times to visit as the beach is covered at high tide.

The Hovelling Boat Inn is a dog friendly micro pub in Ramsgate. The Ramsgate Boating Pool welcomes well behaved dogs on leads in the Café and Bar. Doggie treats available.
