Describe your business to our readers

At Canine Success I provide bespoke dog training and behaviour advice to help revolutionise the relationship you have with your dog.

Do you have your own dog(s)?

For the last 15 years I have owned poodles. Previously Alfie and now Dexter. This is mainly on account of the fact my wife is asthmatic and can barely breathe if she goes anywhere near a dog that sheds! When I was younger we had pets. We actually rescued our first dog from a pond. He had been put in a bag and thrown into the pond. It is really heartbreaking to think what some people do to animals.

How do you start your day?

Normally my day starts with an early morning walk with Dexter before coming home and making a hot cup of coffee and a bit of brekkie!

How does a typical business day look for you?

Depending on the day, it's either made up of teaching classes, seeing clients at home on 1-2-1 basis or dealing with enquiries/writing reports.

How do you finish your day?

I love food so I like to end the day cooking something fresh in the kitchen. If it's paired with a beer or a G & T, then all the better!

What do you most love about running your own business?

It gives me the chance to do something I absolutely love.

And your least favourite thing?

Admin. The busier I am, the more there seems to be!

What would you like to say to dog owners reading this?

If you are having problems with your dog, you do not need to struggle alone. At Canine Success I'm here to help whatever the problem, however big or small. Feel free to give me a call and we can have a chat about taking the first step.
